About Miesje Havens

Miesje Havens is the Founder and Director of The Refined School of Protocol and Etiquette. She is a graduate of LeMoyne College in Syracuse New York with a B.S. in Accounting. In addition, Miesje is certified in Business Etiquette and International Protocol by the prestigious Protocol School of Washington®. Miesje has over twenty years of experience in the Financial Services industry in Executive Leadership and Sales Leadership positions. She is a member of the CNY Chapter of the American Society for Training & Development (ASTD) and a 2005 graduate of Leadership Greater Syracuse. Her personal experience and achievements in business development and networking assist in addressing “real life” situations with her clients. As a corporate protocol consultant, Miesje provides workshops and personal coaching to assist executives in achieving the highest level of professionalism.

In addition, Miesje Havens provides age appropriate etiquette classes for grade school children, introducing them to the importance of good manners. Teens can participate in a series of lessons aimed at teaching the life skills necessary to confidently handle social situations.
